The history of rose which its scent is accepted as a symbol of peace in all religions goes long way back. Rumour has it that the production of rose oil had been considered by Nevcihan, the daughter of shah of Iran in 14th century at first. The pools were filled with rose water instead of water in the wedding ceremony of Nevcihan and Cihangir at the garden of palace, Nevcihan saw the oil- accumulate over the water, and ordered to seperate them.
